Brasília House

The Brasília Residence is a significant example of the fusion between the authenticity of Brazilian contemporary architecture and functionality. Its implementation on a sloping terrain unfolds into three distinct levels. The service floor on the first level, the ground floor mainly designated for leisure and service programs, and finally, the upper floor designed for intimacy. The striking elements of tropical architecture, such as concrete, stones, wood, and muxarabis, give the residence a unique visual identity. With elongated blocks, the project's horizontal visibility is accentuated, highlighting its distinctive features, such as curved walls, roof cutouts, and glass planes in emblematic points. With an "L" shaped plan, intelligent zoning articulates the intimate area and the social space, achieving a harmonious and fluid connection between the social entrance and the pool. The living area, both indoors and outdoors, offers panoramic views, with the pool, also in an "L" shape, standing out as a remarkable highlight of the view extending to the horizon. Internally, the careful use of wooden and neutral tones provides continuity to the outdoor environment, integrating elements progressively and offering a smooth and cohesive transition between spaces.
