The Uno Building, located in the city of Campinas, stands out as an example of controlled-height construction that emphasizes the elegance of horizontality in its architectural design. The access to the building is an inviting experience, projecting itself in relation to the main volume in a sophisticated manner. A pathway, flanked by water mirrors, follows a cutout in the roof, creating an entrance that transcends the conventional, extending an invitation to enter. The volumetry is carefully delineated by prominent eaves, emphasizing the building's levels. The interplay between solids and voids is expressed by sliding panels, imparting movement and releasing the corners as they alternate the balconies, creating a visual rhythm. The color and material palette invite contemplation, a blend of darker and lighter tones of wood combined with glass openings. Round pillars, expressed prominently, not only provide structural support but also mark the breath of the balconies, composing a visual highlight of the building. The presence of vegetation is a constant in this project, representing the harmonious integration between natural and built elements. From the water mirror that welcomes visitors at the entrance to the greenery adorning the balconies, each detail has been carefully integrated to create an environment that inspires serenity and connects occupants with nature, even in the heart of the city.
